Glenn studied Uechi Ryu karate (an Okinawan style) from 1974 until 1992, earning godan (5th degree black belt) from John Izzo. In 1992 he began working with Bert Randio in American Kenpo Karate, under Jeff Speakman in 1994, and Mike Cappi in 2000. In 2001 Glenn was promoted to 1st Degree Black Belt, and started with Mr. Perkins. Glenn was awarded the rank of 2nd degree black belt in 2007. |

Eric studied Shorin Ryu Matsubayashi karate (an Okinawan style) from 1972 until 1999, earning nidan (2nd degree black belt) from Mr. Quai Wong of Toronto. In 1999 he began working with Bert Randio in American Kenpo Karate. After Mr. Perkins took over the dojo Eric continued with him. Eric was awarded the rank of 2nd degree black belt in 2007. |

Patrick Baird |
Patrick began studying kenpo at the age of 5, under Steve Holden, who was associated with Jeff Speakman. In 1999 he switched to Bob Gugenberger, who was associated with John Sepulveda. Patrick was awarded the rank of 2nd degree black belt in 2009. |

Al Piraino |
Al Piraino has been studying the martial arts for about 25 years. He has trained in several arts, including Shotokan, Aikido, and Jiujitsu. He has earned a second degree black belt in both Japanese and Okinawin Goju Ryu. Mr. Piraino joined Upstate Kenpo Karate in February 2005 and earned his 1st degree black belt in September of 2008. Mr. Piraino served in the US Army as a Paratrooper and is a local law enforcement officer who brings real world experience to training. |
